Determine Mounting Location
1. Identify the desired height above the window frame.
Standard practice is to mount 4–8 inches (10-20 cm) above the top of the window frame and the brackets should be positioned 4-6 inches (10-15 cm) inward from each end of the Roman rod (finials excluded).
2. Ensure the rod is level across the entire span using alevel tool.
Install Wall Brackets
1. Mark bracket locations on the wall at the chosen height.
2. Drill pilot holes at the marked points.
3. Insert anchor assortments into the drilled holes, thensecurely attach the supplied mounting brackets using screws.
4. Confirm brackets are level and firmly anchored.
Attach the Curtain Rod & Hang the Curtains
If the curtain rod is supplied in multiple sections due to length, use a rod connector to join the sections together before installation. Insert the rod sections into the connector(s) and ensure each connector is aligned with a bracket for proper support.
1. Attach the curtain or hanging hardware onto the rod before placing it on the brackets (back tab, rod pocket, and grommet curtains can be placed directly onto the rod, while pleated, pleat hook and clip rings should be attached to the rod first).
2. Place the rod onto the brackets, ensuring it sits securely.
3. Attach or position the curtain panels (curtain is not included with this item) according to your chosen hanging method, spacing them evenly across the rod.
4. Make any necessary adjustments to ensure proper alignment and even drape.
Final Checks
1. Confirm that the rod is level and stable after hanging the curtains.
2. Gently open and pull thecurtains to verify smooth movement.
3. Check that all hardware issecurely tightened.
Care & Maintenance
1. Wipe the rod and finials with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust.
2. Avoid using harsh chemicals that could damage the finish.
3. Periodically check screws andbrackets to ensure continued stability.
Important Safety Notes
