Are these genuinely 100% blackout?

To achieve a full 100% blackout effect, please ensure you select the 100% blackout liner option during the customization process. While our standard fabric offers excellent room darkening, the additional liner is required to block 100% of incoming light for total darkness.

How do I measure for custom sizing?

It's easier than you think. Check out our Measurement Guide for details. Measure from the top of your curtain rod down to where you want the curtain to end (the floor or sill). For width, we recommend ordering 1.5x to 2x the width of your rod to ensure they still look full and pleated when closed.

Will they help with my energy bills?

They sure will. The thermal insulation creates a barrier at your window, trapping heat inside during winter and keeping scorching sun out during summer. Many customers notice their HVAC runs less often after installing these.

Are they machine washable?

Yes! We know life happens (dust, pet hair, sticky hands). You can machine wash these on a gentle cycle. Just skip the bleach and tumble dry on low or hang them up to dry.

Is the fabric stiff or soft?

Soft! We use a special weaving technique that integrates the thermal properties directly into the fabric, so you don't get that stiff, crinkly 'shower liner' backing found on cheaper brands.
