Inside Mount
Outside Mount
Inside Mount: The shade is installed inside the window frame, fitting neatly within the
recess for a
clean, built-in look.
* Requires sufficient frame depth (3minimum) to install
properly
* Measuring must be precise
* Small light gaps on the sides are common
Outside Mount: The shade is mounted outside the window frame, either on the wall or above
the frame,
covering a larger area.
* Best for maximum light blocking, as it covers beyond the window frame
* Requires more wall space around the window for installation
STEP 2
MEASURE WIDTH

Outside Mount
Inside Mount: Measure the top, middle and bottom portion of the inside frame and use the narrowest width measurement. Our measurement tool will automatically deduct 1/2” to ensure proper usability.
Outside Mount: Measure the top, middle and bottom portion of the inside frame and use the narrowest width measurement. We recommend extending 4-8” on each side to improve coverage and reduce light gaps.
STEP 3
MEASURE HEIGHT

Inside Mount: Measure the left, center and right portion of the inside frame and use the longest height measurement.
Outside Mount: Measure 4-8” from above the window, down to where you want the shade to sit.
