Cate, 100 % Leinen, gestreift, individueller Café-Vorhang

This is the most common question we get! Here is the deal: because these are authentic linen tier curtains, they hit that perfect sweet spot. They aren't blackout curtains (which would make your kitchen feel like a cave), but they definitely aren't flimsy sheers either.

Think of the fabric like a soft blur filter. It lets all that gorgeous natural light pour in so your room feels airy, but it obscures the view from the outside. You can absolutely drink your morning coffee in your pajamas without worrying about prying eyes.

To maintain the integrity and size of these 100% linen curtains, we strictly recommend dry cleaning only. Because natural linen is highly susceptible to shrinkage and texture changes when exposed to water, they should not be machine washed or hand washed.

By opting for professional dry cleaning, you ensure the fabric keeps its premium look, precise measurements, and beautiful drape for years to come.

Not at all. The stripes on these striped kitchen cafe curtains are designed to be soft and subtle, not loud or jarring. They give you a touch of pattern that adds character without taking over the room.

Plus, a little designer trick: vertical stripes actually draw the eye upward, making your windows feel taller and your ceilings feel higher. They look incredible in everything from modern farmhouse kitchens to cozy cottage nooks.

Because we cut and sew these to your specific measurements, it takes a little longer than grabbing a plastic bag off a shelf at a big box store—but it is worth the wait.

Most custom orders are crafted and shipped relatively quickly. We focus on quality over speed, ensuring that when you open the package, the stitching is straight and the fabric is perfect. Check the current shipping estimates at checkout for the most accurate timeline!
