Are these genuinely 100% blackout?

Yes, absolutely. Unlike standard 'room darkening' shades that let some light filter through, these use a triple-layer weave to block 100% of light. You can hold them up to direct sunlight and see zero penetration.

How do I measure for custom sizing?

It's easier than you think. Measure from the top of your curtain rod down to where you want the curtain to end (the floor or sill). For width, we recommend ordering 1.5x to 2x the width of your rod to ensure they still look full and pleated when closed.

Will they help with my energy bills?

They sure will. The thermal insulation creates a barrier at your window, trapping heat inside during winter and keeping scorching sun out during summer. Many customers notice their HVAC runs less often after installing these.

Are they machine washable?
