That means total privacy during the day (you can see out, they can't see in), but at night with your lights on, you might see silhouettes from the street. If you live on a busy street or just want total privacy, I highly recommend adding the Privacy Liner or Blackout Liner in the customization menu. You get the same gorgeous linen look on the inside, but with the coverage you need.

No, we do not recommend machine washing these curtains. Because they are made of 100% natural linen, they are highly susceptible to shrinkage and texture distortion when exposed to water. To preserve the integrity of the fabric and maintain the precise length of your drapes, we strictly recommend professional dry cleaning only.

By default, these are light-filtering linen curtains that provide a soft, natural glow. However, you can achieve a 100% blackout effect by selecting the '100% Blackout Liner' option during the customization process. This specialized liner is sewn to the back of the linen, blocking out all incoming light and providing extra insulation without compromising the beautiful flax texture on the front.

Most people just hang them up and let gravity do the work over a week or two. If you want them crisp immediately, a handheld steamer is your best friend.
