The material is gorgeous. Lovely silvery light blue color, white backing. Velvet texture. Heavy, elegant feeling. they hang just right. They bring the room upscale. They provide excellent darkness and in this season they keep the room cool. The backing is sewn very well and adds to the elegance. I am so glad I took the chance on HUES!
Honestly, the scenic landscape print makes my whole living room look expensive. The artistic details are super crisp and not tacky at all.

The price matches the quality. I live in Las Vegas, NV and so I am not a newbie to blackout curtains. I also shop at top brand stores when I am looking for quality. This quality surpasses the top brands by leaps. They are super thick. You absolutely need a good rod because they are heavy. Also, my previous blackout curtains left the room warm despite the AC - these do not let even a little heat in. Buying these for all the rooms next.
Honestly, I was worried about the velvet looking "grandma," but the vertical texture is so sleek and modern. Matches my mid-century decor perfectly.
These curtains blocked the light but did nothing to damper the noise. Without the curtains it registered 45-50 decibles and with the curtains it was 35-40 decibels.

The curtain panel was crafted so well and it really blocks out the sound coming from the lobby in my first floor apartment. It actually creates a more cozy feeling in the room and will block out the draft in the wintertime that blows through the space at the bottom of my door. So glad I purchased!!!
Every other curtain vendor sells them in sets. I was surprised when what was in the shipping packaging were single panels. I had to order matching panels so I have not used them yet. So far, they look and feel great and are substantial weighted.

Blackout curtain for sure! Blocks all light 100% I have severe chronic migraines and I literally NEED blackout curtains and these are for sure that. Also, the material is quite nice. The inside liner and the curtain both appear high quality. Not sure about the reviewer who said not velvet but fleece like a cheap Halloween costume but this is not that at all. These curtains look really nice. And they do the job of blocking all light. I definitely recommend. I read a ton of reviews on a so so many curtains and its always hard to know which to listen to. I will say as a severe migraine patient 100% recommend and as a picky woman who also wants them to look nice also 100% recommend.
