Not at all. They are semi-sheer, providing a soft-focus effect that blurs visibility from the outside while letting light in. If you need complete privacy or total light blockage, you can choose to add a 100% blackout lining during the customization process.

Can I throw these in the washing machine?

No, these curtains are not machine washable. To prevent shrinkage and maintain the crisp look of the custom headers, we recommend professional dry cleaning only. Treat them with care to ensure they last for years to come.

How do I measure so I don't mess this up?

Don't stress, it's easier than it looks (See our full Measurement Guide here). Measure the width of your *rod*, not the window glass. For that full, rippled look, multiply that number by 1.5x or 2x. For height, measure from the top of the rod to where you want them to stop (usually the floor).

Will these fade my furniture?

They definitely help! By filtering harsh UV rays, these curtains act as a shield for your furniture. For the highest level of protection and 100% light blockage, we recommend adding a 100% blackout lining in the customization options.
