The Timeless Look of Linen, Simplified

We adore the breezy, organic beauty of pure linen, though keeping it crisp can often be a challenge. These linen blend drapes offer the perfect solution. They capture that coveted, textured aesthetic of natural flax, but are thoughtfully engineered to drape smoothly with minimal effort.

The fabric possesses an incredible 'quiet intricacy'—a mix of layered tones that adds depth to your room without shouting for attention. It strikes the perfect balance between relaxed and refined, delivering that polished, effortless look straight out of the package.

Fiona Linen Blend Custom Curtains in light textured fabric, framing a snowy window, providing warmth & privacy in a sophisticated holiday setting.

Finally, Made to Measure Linen Curtains That Fit

An elegant drape requires the perfect length. Curtains that hang just above the floor or puddle excessively can disrupt a room's visual harmony. Because standard sizes rarely provide a precise fit, achieving this polished look can be a challenge. Our collection offers the solution for a truly tailored finish.

Simply define your ideal look—from a clean hover to an elegant puddle—and input your exact numbers. You get made-to-measure linen curtains that fit your windows flawlessly, delivering a custom designer finish that usually costs triple the price.

The Pinch Pleat Linen Curtains Look You've Been Pinning

The header style is a defining element of a curtain's design. For those seeking high-end architectural interest, a pinch pleat provides a beautifully tailored structure, creating elegant and uniform folds that hold their shape perfectly.

Beyond the style, they are designed for real life. Unlike delicate fabrics that require professional handling, these are fully machine washable. This makes it effortless to keep your curtains fresh and free of dust, allowing you to maintain a pristine home without the hassle or expense of a dry cleaning bill.

Fiona Linen Blend custom drapery, light natural color, with elegant pinch pleat header framing a wooden door, pooling beautifully on the floor.

Need Sleep? Grab Custom Blackout Linen Curtains

Whether you're a light sleeper or building a media room, your curtains can be tailored to your exact light-control needs. You have full control over the lining. Keep it unlined for a soft, light-filtering glow, or upgrade to custom blackout linen curtains. To achieve a full 100% light block, simply ensure you add the 100% blackout lining option during the customization process.

The denser weave doesn't just block sun; it provides natural sound dampening (great for busy streets) and thermal regulation. It keeps your room cooler in the summer and holds warmth in the winter, which is a nice bonus for your energy bill.

Tailored Fiona Linen Blend custom drapes in light beige, framing a wooden French door & pooling on hardwood. Perfect for light control.

FAQ

If I choose the blackout lining, will it actually make the room dark?

Yes, and it’s a game-changer for sleep. To achieve a true 100% blackout effect, simply ensure you select the 100% blackout lining option during the customization process. This turns your bedroom into a cave (in the best way possible), perfect for shift workers, nurseries, or anyone who loves a Saturday sleep-in. Plus, that extra lining adds weight and insulation, helping to dampen street noise and keep your room cooler in the summer.

Do I have to dry clean these?

Nope! We believe luxury should be livable, not a chore. You can pop these in the washing machine on a gentle, cold cycle (30°C max) with similar colors. However, professional dry cleaning is also an option if you prefer. To keep the fabric structure intact, please line dry only—do not tumble dry. Just like your favorite high-quality textiles, they’re designed to handle real life—kids, pets, and dust included—while staying fresh.

Can I see the fabric before I commit to a full order?

Absolutely. We know buying curtains online can feel like a gamble, and photos can't always capture the true "layered tones" and tactile feel of the fabric. We highly recommend ordering fabric swatches first. This lets you hold the material, see how it looks in your specific lighting (morning vs. evening light makes a huge difference!), and feel the quality before you customize your made to measure linen curtains.

Why should I go custom instead of just buying standard curtains?

Standard curtains are like off-the-rack suits—they rarely fit perfectly. You usually end up with awkward gaps, puddling on the floor, or panels that aren't wide enough to close. With our custom linen blend curtains, you get that high-end designer finish because they are tailored to your specific window dimensions. No more "almost fits." You get exact width, exact length, and the specific header style that matches your decor. It instantly elevates the whole room.

Is the price for one panel or a pair (two panels)?

The price shown is for one Fiona Linen Blend curtain panel. For a typical window with a balanced look, you may want to order two panels (quantity 2).

When entering Panel Width, should I input total coverage width or one panel width?

On the product page, the Panel Width you select/enter is the finished size per panel.

  • Per-panel width = (rod width × fullness) ÷ number of panels
  • Use the Size Guide on the product page to calculate step-by-step.
  • If you’d like help, email support@thehues.com with your product link and measurements.
My rod/window width is X—how many panels do I need and what width should each panel be?

The Panel Width/Length you enter on the product page is the finished size per panel.

  • Per-panel width = (rod width × fullness) ÷ number of panels
  • Example: 100" rod width × 1.5 fullness ÷ 2 panels = 75" per panel.
  • Click the Size Guide on the product page for a step-by-step calculator, or contact support for help.
Curtains need fullness—how much extra width should I add?

Different Header Styles correspond to different recommended fullness ratios.

  • Select your header first to see the recommended fullness in the Size Guide/selection area.
  • Our system will use this to calculate or suggest the best size for you.
  • Or, feel free to consult customer service for help.
Should I add extra length for puddling? What if I don’t have room for it?

Yes. You can choose Hover (about 1" above the floor for a clean look) or Puddle (about 3" onto the floor for a more dramatic look). In the product Size Guide, select the finish you want and it will automatically adjust from your floor measurement.

My required width/length isn’t listed (extra wide/long). Can you customize?

Yes. Most made-to-measure curtain listings support per-panel width/length starting at 20" and going up to 200". If you can’t select your size, email support@thehues.com and we’ll help you plan the right split/join solution.

What is a Header Style, and which one should I choose?

A header style is the top construction of the curtain—how it’s made and how it attaches to your rod or track.

  • Rod vs. track: match the header to your hardware.
  • Look: flat vs. pleated vs. wave, etc.
  • Use: frequent opening/closing often benefits from smoother track-friendly headers.

If you’re unsure, start with the Header Style Guide and match it to your setup.

Do the curtains include S hooks/pinch pleat hooks, or do I need to purchase them separately?

It depends on the header you choose:

  • Grommet / Back Tab / Rod Pocket: no hooks needed—slides directly onto a rod.
  • Pleated / Pleat Hook styles: we include the appropriate hooks based on your selection.
  • Roman Rings / Clip Rings: rings/clips are typically purchased separately to match your rod diameter.

To confirm hardware for a specific SKU, email support@thehues.com with the product link or your order number.

Will my rod diameter fit your grommets/loops?

Rod Pocket works best with rods ≤ 1.25" diameter. For Grommet, the internal diameter is about 1.56" and it pairs best with a 1.5" rod. Always confirm against the header option you select.

Is it 100% blackout? How effective is the thermal insulation?

Full blackout depends on the product and the lining you choose:

  • 100% Blackout products can achieve full blackout when installed properly with minimal gaps.
  • For these Fiona curtains (excluding sheer/light-filtering styles), selecting a 100% Blackout Liner can dramatically increase light blocking.
  • Thermal insulation also depends on fabric thickness and lining—thermal/blackout fabrics or added liners typically provide better insulation.
Can you make pinch pleats (e.g., double/triple pleats)?

Yes. The guides list multiple pleated options such as Double/Triple French Pinch Pleat, Euro Pleat, Goblet, and Inverted Box Pleat. Availability depends on the header styles offered on your product page. See Measurement Guide and Header Styles.

Can I order swatches? How do I order them?

Yes. Order directly from Curtain Swatches: select your fabrics/colors and add them to cart.

Limits and shipping/fees follow the latest information shown on the swatch page.

Will swatch fees/shipping be credited or refunded with a full order?

Whether swatch shipping/fees can be credited toward a full order may vary by promotion.

Please email support@thehues.com to confirm the current rule before placing your full order.

Are tiebacks included or sold separately?

It varies by product—please follow the options shown on this curtain’s product page. Many curtain listings let you select tiebacks (for example Free Tiebacks / Matching Tiebacks), which will show in your order/price. If you want tiebacks separately, you can purchase them from Accessories.
