Inside Mount

Drill-Mounting Installation (Inside Mount)

Accessories Included:
• L-shaped mounting brackets x2
• Expansion anchor x8
• 24mm screws x8
• Cord cleat x1 (Only included for corded shades)
• 11mm screws x2 (Only included for corded shades)

Make sure the bracket is installed with 1" (approx 2.5cm) clearance from the edge of the window frame to prevent the headrail from sticking out after installation.

Ensure symmetrical spacing between brackets. After confirming the location, mark the holes for drilling. Use an electric drill or screw drive to secure the brackets in place. If your wall is concrete textured please use the expansion screws for secure installation.

For inside mount, mounting brackets can be secured on top or on the side, depending on your space.

Once both brackets are installed, hold the headrail up and insert the bolt into the slit. Then rotate the nut until it is securely placed.

For corded shades, fix the cord cleat to the side of the window to coil shade cords, preventing accidental strangulation hazards for children and pets.

Outside Mount

1. For optimal coverage and a finished look, we recommend installing the headrail 8 inches above the window frame.
2. The width should be 8 inches wider than your window frame on each side for better coverage (16 in total)

Make sure the brackets are leveled and mark the drilling holes.

Use an electric drill or screw drive to secure the brackets in place. Please use expansion screws if drilling into concrete surfaces.

FAQ

How often do the motorized shades need to be recharged?

If operated 4 times a day, it will need to be charged approximately every 2 to 3 months. The motor is equipped with a micro USB port, making charging very convenient.

Will the color of the woven shades be exactly like the sample or website photos?

Natural fibers can vary slightly in tone due to differences in harvest time, origin, and exposure to light or air. Even shades from the same batch may show subtle variation. We recommend ordering all shades for the same room together and clearly labeling each space when placing your order to ensure best consistency.

Are the textures or small irregularities in the fabric defects?

No. Our woven shades are handcrafted using natural materials. Minor color shifts, irregular textures, visible weaving joins, or even a light plant scent are considered part of the material’s natural character—not quality issues.

How accurate are the measurements?

Due to the handwoven nature of the fabric, slight size variations of ±1–2 cm are normal. Occasional loose threads or fringe edges may appear but will not affect functionality or appearance once installed.

Can I install these in kitchens or bathrooms?

We do not recommend installing woven shades in high-humidity, high-temperature, or high-tension environments (e.g. bathrooms with poor ventilation or directly above stovetops). Natural fibers can warp, stretch, or deteriorate under such conditions.

Will the fabric color change over time?

Yes. Like most natural materials, woven shades will gradually develop a patina from sunlight, air, and daily use. Expect slight softening or deepening in color over 6–12 months—this is a natural aging process, not a defect.

Why is my shade slightly longer after installation?

Natural fabrics may stretch slightly (usually 1–2 cm) due to gravity after hanging. This is expected and does not indicate any product issue.

Shades Measurement
Inside mount
  • Step 1: We recommend measuring width in three places - top, middle and bottom. Use the smallest of these measurements. Deduct 2/5 inches from your width measurement to ensure the best fit.
  • Step 2: Measure the height of window in three places - left, center, and right. Use the largest of these measurements.
Inside mount requires a minimum depth of 2.5 inches of the window frame.
For inside mounts under 45 inches wide, both no-drill and drill-in hardware are included.
Outside mount
  • Step 1: Measure the width of the area you wish to cover. For better coverage and appearance, we recommend adding approximately 8 inches (20 cm) on each side—left and right.
  • Step 2: Measure the height of the area, and similarly add 8 inches (20 cm) to the top and bottom for optimal fit and visual balance.
