A Dog Door Draft Stopper Engineered for Lasting Performance

While traditional pet doors can compromise your home's insulation, our design offers a more refined solution. Engineered with an insulated thermal core, this is more than a flap—it’s a true draft stopper. It creates a secure seal to maintain your home’s climate, keeping heated or cooled air inside and enhancing your overall energy efficiency.

For the cold air that slips past the door, this is a more thoughtful way to keep your home comfortable and warm.

Heavy-Duty Durability for Active Homes

Crafted for lasting performance, this cover is built with the resilience of high-end outdoor gear. We utilize a 580g/m² heavy-duty Oxford fabric that is quilted with insulation—think of it as a durable winter coat for your door.

It stands up beautifully to daily high-traffic use, including muddy paws. The fabric is water-resistant, wipes clean in seconds, and is safely machine washable. Its resilient construction is designed to handle the demands of a busy household, ensuring it retains its textured appearance season after season.

Custom Tailored for a Precision Fit

Effective insulation relies on the fit. While standard options may not always align perfectly with every setup, we customize each cover to your exact dimensions to ensure superior performance.

Whether you have a unique wall entry, a standard commercial model, or a custom DIY installation, this cover is engineered to create a secure thermal seal specifically for your home. It effectively blocks drafts and energy leaks, ensuring your space remains comfortable and efficient.

Easy Access (Even for Scaredy Cats)

Designed for your pet’s intuitive use. While it seals tight against the weather, the flap is remarkably lightweight and flexible. It opens with a gentle nudge and falls smoothly back into place, sealing the opening behind them.

Customers tell us even their hesitant cats and older dogs figure it out instantly. You get the insulation you need without blocking your best friend's freedom.

FAQ

Will this fit my specific brand of pet door?

Yes, certainly. Because we manufacture every cover to order based on your precise measurements, it is compatible with virtually all major commercial models as well as custom-built wall installations. Simply provide your dimensions, and we will craft a cover that fits your setup perfectly.

How do I clean it when it gets muddy?

It's super easy. The Oxford fabric is designed to be water and dirt-resistant. For light messes, you can simply wipe it down with a damp cloth. For a more thorough clean, this cover is safe to machine wash, making it very easy to maintain and keep looking brand new.

Does it really help with energy bills?

Yes. By sealing the biggest hole in your wall (the pet door), you stop heat from escaping in winter and cool air in summer.

My required width/length isn’t listed (extra wide/long). Can you customize?

Yes. Most made-to-measure pet door cover listings support per-panel width/length starting at 20" and going up to 200". If you can’t select your size, email support@thehues.com and we’ll help you plan the right split/join solution.
