Our outdoor curtains are specially treated with a waterproof coating. To keep them performing at their best:
Simply wipe clean with a damp cloth
Use mild detergent for tougher spots
Let air dry naturally
Avoid machine washing, dry cleaning, or harsh chemicals, as these may damage the protective coating.
Patio Waterproof Curtains with an Elegant Fabric Finish
High-performance outdoor textiles often sacrifice aesthetics for durability, resulting in an industrial look that can detract from your patio's ambiance. Our collection was designed to unite elevated style with exceptional performance.
These patio waterproof curtains are designed to bridge the gap between indoor luxury and outdoor survival. They have a rich, linen-textured weave that softens your space and makes your backyard feel like a high-end resort cabana. But unlike real linen, water beads right off. It’s the upgrade your pergola has been waiting for.
Authentic Linen Texture, Outdoor Performance
Enjoy the airy, organic aesthetic of natural fiber, now engineered for the outdoors. Our Noah fabric features a thoughtful blend of 15% authentic linen and 85% high-performance polyester.
This combination captures the genuine flecks and tactile weave you love, while providing the resilience needed to maintain its beauty season after season. It filters harsh sunlight beautifully, reducing glare so you can comfortably read or view your screen, while keeping your patio feeling light and breathable. Maintenance is equally effortless—simply place it in a cold machine wash to refresh.
Custom Sizing Because "One Size" Fits Nobody
A perfect fit is essential for a polished and cohesive design. Because standard panels can be challenging to adapt to custom pergolas and gazebos, we craft each curtain to order, ensuring a flawless, tailored drape.
Whether you need to cover a massive expanse or a tricky corner, you get a tailored, professional fit. Pro tip: If you live in a breezy area, select the "Bottom Grommet" option. It lets you secure the curtains so they don't turn into sails when the wind picks up.
Weather-Resistant Design, Effortless Style
Ensure your outdoor gatherings continue beautifully, even through an unexpected shower. These curtains feature a specialized performance coating designed to repel moisture, helping to keep your seating area dry and welcoming when the weather turns.
Beyond rain protection, they offer essential UV resistance. By filtering harsh rays, the fabric helps maintain a cooler environment and preserves the vibrancy of your outdoor cushions and rugs over time. It’s the perfect blend of privacy, protection, and lasting style.

We've had a few rainstorms and the curtains kept my furniture dry. And I love the light and breezy linen look. Exactly what I was looking for.
I needed a specific headtype and wanted a specific look. I only found this combination at TheHues. I was very impressed with the options and received them in just a week. I had a professional curtain installer who was also impressed with the look and quality.
Absolutely beautiful curtains for our gazebo. Stunning quality and beautifully made, they've given our outdoor space a whole new look.
Fabulous company to purchase have from , from start to finish .
We are extremely pleased wit our waterproof curtains. We have a screened patio and close them whenever rain is predicted.Because you made them with grommets top and bottom they stay put on windy rainy days. Your curtains have extended out outdoor living space.
Love these! I bought these to replace white ones that I had bought two years ago that faded and yellowed and they felt almost like a canvas. These are so beautiful and rich looking and they're very soft and velvety. I was a little worried about how well they would do in the rain. The day after I put them up we had a horrible thunderstorm and the rain just rolled off of them. I'm so happy with my purchase everyone loves them and I can't believe the deal I got on them. I needed six panels! So beautiful! I would definitely recommend these.
So far I love them. Arrived early, good heavy curtains. Soft feel. Not sure about water resistance yet. But will update this post when I see how they handle. So beautiful!
Finally turned my boring pergola into a total resort vibe. The linen texture looks so legit, not like that cheap plastic stuff you find at big box stores.
I purchased these curtains to block the hot Florida sun on one side of my patio. They work like a dream and even after being exposed to several rainstorms, still look great. I am very impressed with the quality especially for the price!
This is my second one! I bought my d first panel over a year ago, I loved it so much I bought another one, I don't necessarily use them for their intended purpose, it's been used to block out the sun, block out rain, cover furniture and dog bed outside.? Keeps everything perfectly dry and definitely deflects water.? It's quick dry as well if it does fall on the ground!
The color is great. They are of high quality. I wanted to try dyeing this fabric myself and I'm so glad I did. Then you need to find the right length of tie rod.
Don't want clapboards, these are great. Block the sun, the good fabric is strong, and the wrinkles will come out after hanging. Great price too! It's perfect for my backyard so far.
Very good quality. I’m replacing the previous curtains that have tattered after two years. Those were not the same quality as these curtains. I did somehow order these much too long but I will hem accordingly. Highly recommend!
They are designed as legitimate patio waterproof curtains. The fabric has a specialized coating that repels water efficiently, so rain beads up and rolls off rather than soaking through.
How do I stop them from blowing around in the wind?
Great question—nobody likes flapping curtains. We highly recommend choosing the "Bottom Grommet" option when you customize your order. This gives you reinforced holes at the bottom so you can secure the curtains with a cable, rod, or weights.
Can I throw these in the washing machine?
Yes! We know outdoor gear gets dirty. You can machine wash these on a cold cycle and tumble dry on low. If they get wrinkled, a quick iron on low heat makes them look crisp and new again.
Is the price for one panel or a pair (two panels)?
The price shown is for one outdoor curtain panel. For a typical window with a balanced look, you may want to order two panels (quantity 2).
When entering Panel Width, should I input total coverage width or one panel width?
On the product page, the Panel Width you select/enter is the finished size per panel.
Per-panel width = (rod width × fullness) ÷ number of panels
Use the Size Guide on the product page to calculate step-by-step.
If you’d like help, email support@thehues.com with your product link and measurements.
My rod/window width is X—how many panels do I need and what width should each panel be?
The Panel Width/Length you enter on the product page is the finished size per panel.
Per-panel width = (rod width × fullness) ÷ number of panels
Example: 100" rod width × 1.5 fullness ÷ 2 panels = 75" per panel.
Click the Size Guide on the product page for a step-by-step calculator, or contact support for help.
Curtains need fullness—how much extra width should I add?
Different Header Styles correspond to different recommended fullness ratios.
Select your header first to see the recommended fullness in the Size Guide/selection area.
Our system will use this to calculate or suggest the best size for you.
Or, feel free to consult customer service for help.
My required width/length isn’t listed (extra wide/long). Can you customize?
Yes. Most made-to-measure curtain listings support per-panel width/length starting at 20" and going up to 200". If you can’t select your size, email support@thehues.com and we’ll help you plan the right split/join solution.
My space has different opening sizes (e.g., sunroom/L-shape). How should I split and place the order?
For complex layouts (sunrooms, L-shapes, multiple openings), measure each opening separately and place separate line items as needed. Start with the Curtain Measurement Guide, then email support@thehues.com with a sketch/photos and each opening’s measurements for a tailored recommendation.
What is a Header Style, and which one should I choose?
A header style is the top construction of the curtain—how it’s made and how it attaches to your rod or track.
Rod vs. track: match the header to your hardware.
Look: flat vs. pleated vs. wave, etc.
Use: frequent opening/closing often benefits from smoother track-friendly headers.
If you’re unsure, start with the Header Style Guide and match it to your setup.
I received my curtains but can’t find the right hardware to hang them—what should I do?
Start by checking your header style:
Grommet / Back Tab / Rod Pocket: slides directly onto a rod—no extra hardware needed.
Pleated / Pleat Hook styles: we include the appropriate hooks based on your selection.
Roman Rings / Clip Rings: rings/clips are typically purchased separately to match your rod diameter.
If you’re unsure or think something is missing, email support@thehues.com with your order number and photos.
Do the curtains include S hooks/pinch pleat hooks, or do I need to purchase them separately?
It depends on the header you choose:
Grommet / Back Tab / Rod Pocket: no hooks needed—slides directly onto a rod.
Pleated / Pleat Hook styles: we include the appropriate hooks based on your selection.
Roman Rings / Clip Rings: rings/clips are typically purchased separately to match your rod diameter.
To confirm hardware for a specific SKU, email support@thehues.com with the product link or your order number.
Will my rod diameter fit your grommets/loops?
Rod Pocket works best with rods ≤ 1.25" diameter. For Grommet, the internal diameter is about 1.56" and it pairs best with a 1.5" rod. Always confirm against the header option you select.
Will the door curtain seal the doorway to keep mosquitoes out?
The website does not guarantee a fully sealed, mosquito-proof doorway. If your goal is to minimize gaps, choose appropriate width/length and a closer-fitting header (such as rod pocket / back tab) and contact support@thehues.com with your doorway setup.
Can I change/customize the lining color (e.g., gray to ivory)?
Yes—please contact support before ordering. If a matching lining fabric is available, we can customize the lining color as a special request.
This may involve an additional cost and/or extended lead time. Email support@thehues.com with your product link and desired lining color (ideally with a reference photo).
Can I order swatches? How do I order them?
Yes. Order directly from Curtain Swatches: select your fabrics/colors and add them to cart.
Limits and shipping/fees follow the latest information shown on the swatch page.
Will swatch fees/shipping be credited or refunded with a full order?
Whether swatch shipping/fees can be credited toward a full order may vary by promotion.
Please email support@thehues.com to confirm the current rule before placing your full order.
I can’t find the swatch option for a specific color/product—what should I do?
Please email support@thehues.com with the product link and color name, and we’ll help confirm the matching swatch (or the closest available option).
Can I buy fabric by the yard? What’s the price per yard?
The website does not provide a public fabric by the yard listing or price list. If you need fabric for a project, please email support@thehues.com with the fabric name, intended use, and quantity needed.
Are tiebacks included or sold separately?
It varies by product—please follow the options shown on this curtain’s product page. Many curtain listings let you select tiebacks (for example Free Tiebacks / Matching Tiebacks), which will show in your order/price. If you want tiebacks separately, you can purchase them from Accessories.
