Making living rooms and bedrooms feel cozy usually comes naturally. Kitchens and bathrooms, on the other hand, are much harder – because coziness there is almost entirely about textiles.

Classic curtains usually come as two fabric panels hanging left and right. Beautiful, but not always practical – especially in kitchens, where you don’t want fabric getting in the way while cooking.

A big window to watch the snow fall was top of my house hunting list! 🥹 This room was a big seeking point for us. The view down the street and the big window with a bench seat. It’s perfect for morning coffees, reading a book, a glass of wine in the evening and hot chocolates after playing in the snow.

This window was really needing new curtains though. Something lighter but private. The only thing was the size! With this being such a large window the cost had us putting it off….. then I discovered @thehues_home ! 🙌 Custom curtains with the big custom price tag.
